Electronic Accessories

Blancett offers several electronics options to suit a variety of output requirements. These accessories will modify, enhance or customize the frequency output from the Blancett turbine flow meter. In addition, many accessories are also stand-alone devices compatible with other instrumentation.

Converters

These devices take a raw pulse output from a turbine meter and covert it to an analog output, such as 4-20 mA or 0-5 VDC.

K-Factor Scaler

This device will scale the raw pulse output from a turbine meter into a frequency that is compatible with a PLC or other monitoring device.

Digital to Analog Converter

Digital to analog converters enable flow meters with frequency outputs to integrate into control systems, PLCs and rate indicators requiring analog inputs.

Signal Conditioning Amplifiers

Cox SCAs were primarily designed to maintain signal integrity when greater transmission distance is required from the flow meter pickoff. Additionally, they can provide an added layer of protection from signal distortion in environments with higher levels of ambient electrical noise from various flow processes, such as, but not limited to Motors/Pumps, Fluorescent Lighting and Wireless Devices.
